Jackie Polisar     Kingston

It was love at first class when I entered Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre on East 24th Street in New York City in 1978. In 1979 I took my first 200 hour teachers training with Sivananda Ashram in Val Morin, Canada; took another one with a focus on Vinyasa Flow in the twenty-first century (giggle). Believing that variety is the spice of life I have studied and explored other Yoga lineages and styles; Iyengar, Jivamukti, Kundalini, Yin Yoga…. After experiencing the physical and spiritual benefits of Yin Yoga I was inspired to take the teachers training with Biff Mithoefer offered at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY. I teach two Yin Yoga classes a week at MiBoSo Yoga Studio in Kingston, NY.
