Helen Fong

Helen Fong       Halifax

Helen Fong was trained and certified by Bernie Clark and Diana Batts in Vancouver, BC on May 18, 2014. She has been teaching yin classes for over 10 years in Halifax, Nova Scotia. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Helen pivoted to teaching online classes and workshops via Zoom and continues to offer weekly online classes, as well as in-person and hybrid classes.

Helen’s yin teaching style demonstrates the importance of guiding her students in and out of poses safely and mindfully. She offers modifications for poses using yoga props in creative ways to support her students’ yin experience. She enjoys holding space for her students and playing relaxing music with little to no talking while students explore poses.
