Grace Tempany     Dublin

Grace discovered yoga in 2007 and has been continuously exploring her practice since. Her first training (Bikram) was in 2013 and she has been teaching Yin since 2015, counting Mysan Sidbo, Sarah Powers, and Josh Summers as her mentors thus far. Grace’s personal approach to Yin Yoga is a perfect marriage of anatomy and awareness. Firmly rooted in functional Yoga her teaching is infused with mindfulness techniques. Grace’s approach to yoga is summed up nicely in the best-loved children’s book, “We’re going on a bear hunt: there is no going over or under any of our experiences in this life; we have simply got to go through them.”

The practice of embracing what arises for us on our mats, and the opportunity this presents to befriend our sensations, thoughts, and emotions, are possibly yoga’s greatest gifts to those of us willing to embark on the journey.
