Gillian Davies    Lanarkshire, Scotland

Gillian fell in love with yoga at 21, when she attended her first Ashtanga class in Dublin, Ireland. From here, she established a regular at home practice which mainly focussed on the physical aspects of yoga. While completing her degree studies, Gillian became more interested in the spiritual aspects of yoga and began learning more about meditation and pranayama. She completed her Seasonal Yoga RYT 200 hours in 2016 and went on to study Yin Yoga with Clare Gates Sjöblom, who is a student of Paul Grilley. Gillian also holds a qualification in teaching Kids Yoga, which comes in handy in her role as a Primary School Teacher.

Gillian teaches a weekly Yin Yoga class and holds regular workshops, aiming to encourage people to share their yoga by moving slowly and mindfully. Her teaching approach is inspired by her own practice and continued professional development.
