Gillian Davies

Gillian Davies    Lanarkshire, Scotland

Gillian fell into yoga at 21, looking for a method to manage ongoing migraine symptoms and to boost her mental wellbeing. She established a regular home practice and began exploring meditation and pranayama in addition to asana. In 2016 Gillian completed her 200 hours Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training and began offering regular classes. Through this training she first learned about Yin Yoga and went on to study extensively with Clare Gates Sjöblom, who is a student of Paul Grilley.

Gillian has completed over 400 hours of additional training in Yin Yoga, specialising in classes which cater towards boosting mental wellbeing and promoting a restful sleep. Her teaching style is welcoming, accessible and inspired, as she weaves yoga philosophy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern psychology into highly relatable lessons.

Gillian’s passion for all things yoga, and most specifically Yin, is evident through her weekly classes and regular workshops.
