Fiona Ross

Fiona Ross        Aberdeen

Fiona offers a grounded and therapeutic approach to Yin Yoga, drawing on over 20 years of experience as a body and energy work therapist. With a background in Psychology and Counselling, and 200 hours of Yin Yoga training completed in Thailand (2018 with Dughal Meachem) and the UK, her classes are deeply nurturing and restorative.

Classes are primarily floor-based with slow, gentle movements that target key areas of the body to support the release of physical tension, and bringing awareness to the body and mind without judgement. The practice encourages a shift into the parasympathetic nervous system – our rest, relax, and digest mode – helping to calm the mind and soothe the body. Classes are sprinkled with learning self-regulation techniques to use at home in daily life. Suitable for all levels including beginners. Each session closes with a guided relaxation or meditation to leave you feeling lighter, balanced, and restored.
