Evelyn Harlan    Sacramento, California

Evelyn, has been practicing yoga for 10 years including Bikram, Vinyasa Power, Yin Yoga, Ashtanga and Kundalini. She completed her teacher training at White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara and has gone on to study anatomy and yin yoga with Paul and Suzee Grilley at Sarah Power’s Insight Yoga Institute in Corte Madera. Also, she has taken Therapeutic Yoga Training with Cheri Clampett and Arturo Peal in Santa Barbara.

Most recently she has completed Deepening Your Practice Teacher Training at White Lotus Foundation and has studied with and continues to take workshops with Sarah Powers, Doug Swensen, Paul Grilley and others. She has a strong interest in anatomy, the restorative benefits of yoga and the belief that yoga is accessible to anyone. Involvement with outreach in the community has been a major focus in her life and the practice of yoga…both with adults and children. “Yoga has opened my body, life and spirit in ways that I could never have imagined and through teaching yoga I just want to share this experience.”
