For me, Yin yoga is an antidote for the busy lives of city people and a balm for our nervous system.
I trained at Laughing Lotus in NYC, under the guidance of Brandi Ryans and Susan Derwin. I teach from my own practice and from the immense benefits Yin yoga has brought me.
My classes usually start with a bit of movement and mindfulness, to transition from the day to the mat. Then we settle in a series of Yin poses linked to the theme of the class, and close with pranayama and savasana.
My classes welcome all, regardless of practice and abilities, and plenty of modifications are offered.
