Eileen Hanson (they|them) Winona
Eileen found yin yoga after years of thinking they were “not a yoga body”. Eileen embraces the yin yoga philosophy of using the pose to get into the body and using embodiment practices to cultivate our inner awareness. Eileen has practiced tai chi and qi gong since 1999 and completed the 50-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Bernie Clarke and Diana Batts in 2021.
They have a passion for helping others to connect more deeply with their own body with curiosity and appreciation. As a practitioner in Buddhist and Christian contemplative traditions, Eileen has experience with diverse spiritual expressions and is currently completing a Master of Divinity degree.
With an LGBTQ+ affirming and trauma sensitive lens, they offer guidance in embodiment and contemplative practices. Individual or group guidance is available, in person or remotely.
