I’m a Yin Yoga teacher and advocate of #yogaisnotjustasana. After completing my RYT200 teacher training my personal practice shifted towards a practice of deliberate stillness. I studied to become a Yin & Restorative teacher with Shasta Jordan and completed further training with Josh Summers, Judith Hanson Lasater, Jillian Pransky and Satya Greenstone.

Yin Yoga allows for the opportunity to connect with your physical body, stretching deep into the fascia, releasing any held tension. But more importantly getting to know your “mind”, practicing loving kindness, being more receptive, patient, nurturing, accepting and mindful, learning to soften and to let go without attachment or aversion.

Stillness allows for deep relaxation and restoration to take place both physically and psychologically, and that is what I teach. I mainly teach one-on-one, holding space for where the student is at, which allows for a more personalized experience working with any specific limitations, injuries or imbalances.
