I started doing yoga seventeen years ago. In 2008 I embarked on my 200 hour teacher training. In 2010 I started studying yoga with Rod Stryker of ParaYoga learning the energetics of yoga and other benefits beyond strengthening and stretching the body. Our life journeys allow us to grow, evolve and adapt to our situations and I can say that I have greatly benefited from my own yoga practices. Yoga has taught me to overcome obstacles, be present, and learn that guidance comes when we seek stillness. Life has many paths and yoga can be a very beneficial tool to help along the way. I now qualify as a 500 hour yoga teacher and I simply love teaching and practicing. I recently certified to teach yin yoga and am thrilled to start teaching this wonderful type of practice.
