I have been teaching yoga for 12 years and yin yoga for 10 years. Owner and founder of the Yoga Republic which is an eco yoga studio – offering many styles of yoga. I was first introduced to yin yoga by Bryan Kest when I attended his teacher training in Mexico in 2007. I absolutely fell in love with the style. I was one of the first teachers to offer and promote Yin yoga in south Africa… at first it was met with some resistance but through perseverance and love it’s taken off and offered at most studios today.
