Christiana Meissnitzer    Vienna & Salzburg

I was first introduced to Yoga in 1999 in California. I started out with Vinyasa Yoga and Bikram Yoga and have completed several Teacher Trainings over the next years. Starting to teach in 2002 in Vienna, I practiced furthermore with Tony Sanchez in San Francisco and Mexico (Yoga Challenge Teacher Training), in India at the Bishnu Gosh College (Kalkutta), and got the Hot Vinyasa Flow Certificate (by Jimmy Barkan, in Fort Lauderdale). I am registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT 200, and with more than 1,000 hours of Teacher Trainings).

I discovered Yin Yoga at around 2004. It became an important part of my own personal practice, and finally in 2010 I completed the 100hours Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Paul and Suzee Grilley in Hamburg. Ever since then my Yin Yoga practice has deepened and I like to pass it on in my classes. Generally I teach Vinyasa with Yin Yoga Elements, that’s why I like to call it “YinYogaFlow”. I am deeply grateful for Yin Yoga and its effects on my whole Yoga and Meditation practice and in my classes.
