Catherine Evans

Catherine Evans    South Nottinghamshire

Catherine has been teaching for 5 years and practicing yoga for 10 years. Her style owes much to Andy Thomas of Shanti yoga where she trained initially and could best be described as classical indian . Her interest in yoga began with the physical but now fully incorporates the mental and spiritual aspects. Enthusiasm for yin culminated in completing teacher training with Paul Grilley in 2011 and she feels it is the perfect complement to a busy life and compatible with all other styles of yoga. She is registered with IYN ( Independent Yoga Network) and BSY (British School of Yoga). The other main influence on her philosophy is meditation and mindfulness in the manner of the Zen Buddhist Thich Nhat Hahn.

Catherine teaches classes in South Nottinghamshire (Bingham, Scarrington, & West Bridgford)
