Carla Collins

Carla Collins   Hout Bay, Cape Town

Carla has been teaching since 2011 and is an ERYT 500hr with trainings in Trauma Focused Yoga, Yin and Restorative. Her Yin practice spans over a decade and she has been teaching Yin since 2013.

Her Journey began with Iyengar Yoga and moved through Bikram into the world of dynamic Vinyasa but with time and knowledge her focus shifted to the slower, more introspective methods and styles of yoga. At the heart of her teaching of yoga, both in movement and stillness, is the intention to cultivate awareness, resilience and wellness both in body and mind. Yoga as a tool for living.

She has completed trainings with Josh Summers and Bernie Clark and continues to learn, study and read (and practice!) and is passionate about Yin Yoga and all this simple but profound practice has to offer.
