Candy Evans

Candy Evans    Richmond & Midlothian

Candy Evans, ERYT/RYT500 has been studying the wisdom tradition of yoga and practicing mediation and Tai Chi for more than 20 years. She completed the 230-hour teacher training program at the Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina under the direction of Stephanie Keach in 2007 and the Advanced Studies program in 2009. She has studied with many great and inspiring teachers from far and wide and loves and appreciates them all. She has worked as a trainer and teacher for more than 15 years. She enjoys bringing the practice of yoga to all people regardless of age, life circumstance, perceived ability, or experience.

Candy enjoys bringing yoga outdoors and nature indoors. Her most dominant sources of inspiration both in life and in her classes include: Momma Earth, Buddhist mindfulness practices, quantum physics, and Native American wisdom traditions. Candy’s classes are a celebration of body and breath infused with a playful spirit, some poetry and prose, loads of practical bits of data, along with some laughter, which hopefully all combine to allow each student to connect with their own Infinite Source of inspiration and creativity both on and off the mat.
