Beth Cholette

Beth Cholette        Rochester

Beth has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and became a registered yoga teacher in 2015. Since that time, she has completed various additional yoga trainings, including several online yin yoga certifications with José de Groot. Her background as a clinical psychologist is reflected in her yoga teaching style, which encourages developing increased internal awareness and making mindful movement choices.

Beth’s mindful yoga classes blend hatha, yin, gentle, and trauma-sensitive approaches with mindfulness skills to support both physical and mental well-being. Students can expect her classes to be slower-paced, with liberal and creative prop use. She frequently weave in themes, quotes, yoga philosophy, mudras, and other elements to honor yoga’s roots as well as to enhance mind-body awareness.

Beth is committed to making yoga accessible to different bodies and abilities.
