Annetta McCarty

Annetta McCarty    Redwood City, California

Formerly a ballet & modern dancer, Annetta began practicing yoga in 1999. She was immediately hooked, due to its calming, strengthening, meditative and transformative power in her life. Throughout her yoga journey she has studied & practiced: Bikram, Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Iyengar, Yin and Restorative yoga. Annetta’s classes are fun, intuitive, thoughtfully sequenced and well balanced, with an emphasis on breath & alignment to encourage students to develop a safe, sustainable and transformative practice. She teaches Yin yoga classes to all levels and ages. Her teaching is inspired by her own therapeutic practice, which she uses to build energy, heal injuries, restore balance and connect more deeply to herself, others, and to the divine.

Her goal as a teacher is to truly see her students and to perceive and teach what they really need. To Annetta yoga is a lifestyle, which leads to greater self love, freedom, health, happiness, contentment, peace, and bliss.
