I learned how to teach while living at an ashram in Yogaville, Virginia – an experience that changed the way I see the world and continues to affect my life. I am certified in Integral Yoga, which teaches us that: “truth is one, paths are many” – something I wholly believe. My goal is for each student to leave class with a calm, clear mind and a greater sense of the peace all of us hold within. My personal goal is to do as little harm to other beings as possible and to live with compassion. We are all one universal family.

I focus on verbal instruction and encourage my students to tune into their bodies to know what they need. Unless students request specific areas to work on, all of my classes are fully balanced. My yin classes often include a chakra clearing and always end with yoga nidra and meditation.
