Andrew Chaves Long Beach
Andrew started practicing yoga as a teenager and after many years of studying various styles, he decided to complete a yoga teacher certification to deepen his practice. He completed a 200-hour YTT at Sundara Yoga Shala and has continued his studies, completing a 50-hour Yin Yoga certification with Bernie Clark and Diana Batts.
As a yoga teacher, Andrew’s goal is to make yoga accessible to all people. He strives to create a safe, healthy atmosphere to explore asana and yogic philosophy, making the practice approachable for everyone, of every level and of every walk of life. He teaches vinyasa and yin yoga in the Long Beach area, and every Sunday morning, a donation-based yoga class at Heartwell Park in Long Beach.
