Amber Shakti

Amber Shakti    Sterling & Ashburn

Ongoing and intense study of anatomy, kinesiology, neuroscience, and relaxation techniques keep Amber Shakti inspired. 6500 hours of teaching experience provided a background for her to branch out into Yin Yoga in 2008. People were stressed. With an intense passion for neuroscience, Amber began to create environments and used the Yin platform of deep stretching to combine, Gentle, Yin and some restorative poses, all designed to address the Parasympathetic Nervous System, the rest, digest and repair neurology of the human body. Classes were upwards of 70 people and had a waiting list. Amber realized and identified the need for a quieter practice. She is well known throughout the Northern Virginia area for her teaching style of Yin Yoga. In 2013, she designed and developed her own Yin Yoga (Yinoga) teacher training program.
