Amanda Rose

Amanda Rose       Hilo, Hawaii

It is Amanda’s belief that yin yoga is a wonderful and potent medicine for the times we live in. It is her great joy and privilege to serve the community and to be a guide in your yogic explorations. No matter your age or experience, it is her honor to assist you on your journey of inquiry and discovery.

Amanda completed a 200hr yoga teacher training in 2015, in the hatha and vinyasa styles. She currently teaches yin and hatha styles, both in studio and private sessions. She is studying and working towards a 500hr certification, focusing especially on the fields of anatomy, yoga for mood management, yin yoga, prenatal yoga, and yoga for aging.

Amanda’s life experience has also been shaped by a number of Vipassana meditation retreats, rich global perspectives, and transformational introspective ceremonies. She weave meditation and mindfulness practices into her sessions. Other areas of focus include pranayama and the chakra system.
