Ali Binns        Bath

I’m a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist and recently qualified yin yoga teacher working in Bath, UK. I trained as a yoga teacher having experienced the benefits of mindful breathing and movement through my own yoga practices, and wanted to be able to combine my therapeutic expertise alongside mindful movement and share this with others.

I took the plunge to train in 2020 as I found the overlap between modern psychology and yoga philosophy too interesting not to study further. In my classes I try to blend modern psychology with Eastern philosophical approaches to help clients to develop an inner curiosity, build resilience to stressors, benefit from increased calm and develop both physical and psychological flexibility. Yin is my favourite style of yoga for personal practice and to teach. I love to blend it with relaxation and meditation.
