Alexis Reale

Alexis Reale     Portland, Oregon

Alexis has been dancing for 22 years and practicing yoga for 6, but it wasn’t until her first yin class two years ago that she started to feel the space and awareness of her body that can only be described as a feeling of finally feeling at home in her body. Alexis never felt like she had so many options and the permission to explore in a yoga class that she knew she needed to pass this feeling onto others. Alexis also teaches bellydance.

In her class she teaches others to try and tune in, to cultivate stillness without holding and to explore and play with their edges in the poses. Props are strongly encouraged as well is the freedom to experience the pose in a new way each time.
