We are introducing a new live online Q&A session for anyone currently enrolled in or who has completed one of our trainings. This is an open opportunity to ask Bernie Clark, Diana Batts, and Nathalie Keiller questions about the course material, clarify areas of confusion, discuss challenges you may be facing, and explore how to integrate what you’ve learned into your classes or studio. There is no set agenda and no obligation to speak — simply a thoughtful space for conversation.

This invitation is open to students of the Yin Yoga Teacher Training, Meditation Revealed, and Functional Anatomy for Yoga Teachers programs. The inaugural session will be held Tuesday, March 24 at 10:00 am PT (1:00 pm ET / 10:00 pm CET), live online through Asana at Home. There is no additional cost for eligible participants but you do need to register to join us live. The session will be recorded so you can rewatch it anytime.

Synonyms for Stress

Feeling stressed out? Need to reduce your stress levels? It seems obvious that stress is a bad thing. Just think of the word “distress.” Who wants to be in distress? Maybe the fault is not in being stressed, but in having too much stress or being stressed too often. There is another word that few people know: “eustress.” Eustress is the appropriate amount of stress needed for growth, strength, and resilience. All living organisms need optimal levels of stress to survive and thrive. The challenge we face is knowing when enough is enough, and avoiding too little stress when some stress is needed…

Starting March 10th our weekly live classes will include
Chair Yoga by Christina Raskin
Subscribers to Welcome to the Yinside already have access to two live Yin Yoga classes and two live Hatha yoga classes each week, plus their replays and all the past classes in the archive, all for $6 or less per week. Now beginning on March 10th at 10 am PT, we are experimenting with adding a live Chair Yoga class each Wednesday with Christina Raskin. Check it out or watch the replay and let us know what you think? If people enjoy this addition, we may keep offering it beyond March.

These gentle, inclusive chair‑yoga session are designed for beginners and seasoned yogis alike. You will need a sturdy, non‑slipping chair (preferably without armrests). Each class will cover a series of seated stretches, strengthening moves, and mindful breathing techniques that promote flexibility, balance, and relaxation—all while staying comfortably grounded. Come explore this supportive practice suitable for every body.

Functional Anatomy for Yoga Teachers

The digital version of Functional Anatomy is the recorded version of the live course given in July of 2025. This On Demand 30-hour version goes beyond the basic information about anatomy and physiology offered in most Yoga Teacher Trainings. The focus is on how the body moves and, more importantly, what limits movement, when these limits can be extended and when they should be accepted. What is uniquely fun about this course is that you will be exploring your own body’s ranges of motion.

To learn more and to order the course visit either Asana at Home or Yogaversity.

On Demand Yin Yoga Teacher Training

This comprehensive on demand, online training will immerse you in the techniques, theory, and teaching of Yin Yoga. Guided by Bernie Clark and Diana Batts, you’ll explore the foundations of the practice from physiological, energetic, and psychological perspectives. Through a blend of lectures, demonstrations, and guided practice, you’ll learn how to safely experience Yin Yoga yourself—and how to confidently share it with others. Whether you’re a yoga teacher, therapist, or dedicated practitioner, this course will deepen your understanding and expand your skillset.
