When is it too much?

In last month’s article about the “credit card effect”, we learned that it is possible to overdo exercise, stretching and weight bearing practices. Excessive stress, when not balanced with adequate rest and recovery, can lead to tissue damage. Of course, too little stress is not good either. We need a  ‘Goldilocks’ amount of stress—neither too much nor too little, and applied at the right frequency. The lingering question was: how do we know when we’re doing too much? Time for the answer.

2025 Trainings in Yin Yoga and Functional Anatomy

The 2025 trainings are now open for registration! We are planning to have four Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings in 2025. Two will be in-person (in March and September) and two will be online (in May and November.) In addition, we will be having the 3rd and last live offering of Functional Anatomy for Yoga Teachers in July. This in-person training will be recorded for all those who wanted an online version. All in-person trainings will be held in Vancouver, Canada.
