Karlita Nabours-Palermo
Lake Charles, Louisiana (USA)
truckli (at) gmail.com
8:15 on Friday mornings at Gigi's Downtown ( gigisfitnesscenters.com )

Karlita is a Registered Nurse en route to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in holistic care. She began studying Iyengar yoga in 2001 while completing her B.A. in Religion. Since then she has progressed through a wide variety of influences, including Agama, Kundalini, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, Bikram, Ashtanga, and Viniyoga Therapy. Karlita began teaching following Paul Grilley's 100-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training in July 2011.

Karlita LOVES to teach. She has a passion for sharing what she has learned, from many angles, about living a happy, embodied life. Her style of yoga emphasizes body awareness, heart opening, the magic of breath, altering the stress response, working with subtle energies, releasing egoic hindrances to a safe and fulfilling practice, gentleness, naturalness, creative and spontaneous play, directly experiencing the divine, and the sheer joy of being alive. Her yoga is soulful.

Karlita is available for workshops, for private instruction with individuals and small groups, and for relaxing assisted-yoga sessions.
