I currently teach yin yoga at Bound Lotus and Body Harmony in North Vancouver and Om Prem in West Vancouver. My website has my current teaching schedule if you want to join me for a class!
I’ve been teaching for more than 15 years and now focus my instructional energies on teaching yoga. I love the meditative aspect of yin yoga and strive to teach as unobtrusively as possible, allowing students to deepen into their own experiences. I encourage students to find their own perfect postures rather than pushing or forcing into an aesthetic ideal.
I love leading guided relaxation sessions (or yoga nidra) and usually start the relaxation period at the end of classes with a short guided relaxation. I consider it a huge compliment when students drift off during a practice
