Yin and Running

Post by Mickcope »

Bernie - just some personal feedback for you...

I have religiously avoided running all my life - as I viewed it as an exercise created by the devil. But on the 1st Jan I decided to give it a try. Today I completed my first half marathon.!!!

Two things - First - I put the fact I was able to run injury free after only seven weeks training very much down to my daily Yin practice. Second - the knee flexion exercise we talked about I believe helped me to make the distance without collapsing in tears at the first hill descent. My knee was very tight at the end - but I immediately started movement and flexion exercises and it is as good as it was now.

thanks for all your help

Mick

Good on you, Mick. That's great. Keep on running and keep the knees happy.
