Themes for Yin Class

From time to time teachers and even students wrote some very interesting stories and thoughts about their Yin Yoga experiences.

Yin Blogs

Thank you for sharing your Yin Yoga blog posting. It is a great reminder to stay present. You write well (although, you may want to ask a friend to proof read your work: your 3rd sentence reads, "Any ‘body’ and do yin but not any ‘mind’" and I am sure you meant the "and" to be "can". ).

Your post gives me an idea: I should create an area of this forum just for people to post their Yin Yoga related blog links.

Thanks for sharing!

Themes for Yin Class

Post by Gabrielle »

Hi Bernie thanks for the typo you were my friend that day!
Yes please do create a post for it. I write every day and I have a mountain of ideas for yin class themes. In fact I have a book's worth if you are keen.
Oh you are my friend most days actually I should say.... through my yoga online, I'll see you there......

Great blog post Gabrielle...I too encourage my students to marvel at their courage & their strength to stay in a pose...I think we sometimes surprise ourselves (I know I often do) when the time comes to release the pose & we realize that 4 or 5 minutes has passed...learning that place of "comfortable discomfort" is such a gift...
