I have just come upon a practice with the fascia named Block Therapy, created by Deanna Hansen. It is a very deep decompression of the fascia and spontanously I think this could be a good complement to yinyoga, especially if you got pain somewhere. I would be happy to hear comments on this.
Cheers Anna
I am not very familiar with Block Therapy, but I gather it is another form of fascial release which includes a block (made of bamboo?) to apply a compressive stress to the body similar to other massage balls and rollers, and employs postures, breathwork and mindfulness. It sounds like many other forms of fascial release therapies which can reduce pain, improve range of motion and overall well-being. As part of an overall practice, it could be a good component of a health regime. Basically, if it works for you, great!
